30/03/2007 - Have you heard big signings?
I've heard a lot of rumours over the last couple of weeks concerning a certain signing, but just brushed it aside as paper talk. It's finaly official Scott McDonald has signed for us, the man who single handedly ripped every celtic fans heart out of their chest that dreaded day in the 2004/05 season. I've been to 2 or 3 motherwell games at parkhead since then and everytime that guy touches the ball he gets booed.
I hope Gordon knows what he's doing, everyone was a bit dubious at signing 2 ex-huns in one season but he may have just gone a bit too far. Scott McDonald is a decent player for Motherwell but will he do it for us??? He is a Hun legend for what he did to us!!! and we have too many 2nd rate strikers!!! I hope he proves me wrong.
We must have made enough money during the champions league and our asian connections to at least buy a half decent striker. Just put it this way 'Miller time' has ended, 'theres no Magic (maciej) left in the relationship', looks like 'beatties gonna beat it to england', JVOH is always injured and Riordan never gets a game. The best bit of business strachan can do at the moment is sign up Larsson jnr (Jorden) probably get a few more goals than some of the above.
You never know our next big signing could be RUSSELL LATAPY (shouldn't joke about these things). Anyway lets all hope that Gordon gets a few decent players in the summer PLEASSSSSSSE.
